5. Bat those bedroom eyes.  To give your liner a lived in look, line the inner rims of your upper and lower lids with a creamy black pencil and blink three times to smudge.

It looks like the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival has got itself a grand opening – at least in the fashion side – with Elizabeth Banks kicking it off with utter glamour.

Arriving at the Palais des Festivals for the premiere of Pixar’s “Up”, Elizabeth Banks was one of the event’s head turner with her one-shouldered Armani Privé Spring 2009 red gown. In that long flowing train and sexy hot curls, it sure is impossible to miss in this look.

Well reds on the red carpet never seem to fail to get the audience’s attention. This look actually reminds of Heidi Klum’s two respective appearances  in the Oscars.

It does pay to be bold and daring in the red carpet, huh?!

Meanwhile, “Up” is an upcoming computer-animated 3D film by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. Set to be released on the 29th this month, it tells the story of Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old balloon salesman who decided to fulfill a promise to the love of his life. Using 10,000 balloons to fly his house, Carl is set for an adventure with a chubby eight-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell that he unwittingly took as he was moving.

The film’s cast includes Edward Asner, Jordan Nagai, Bob Peterson, and John Ratzenberger.

Aside from Elizabeth other stars who dazzled at the event were Indian actress, Aishwarya Rai in her white strapless Roberto Cavalli gown with a ruffled tiered skirt and actress and jury member Shu Qi in a teal strapless Roberto Cavalli gown (in respective photos above).

Jessica Alba, along with her husband, attended a screening of Crips and Bloods: Made in America yesterday in an undeniably classic, luxurious and beautiful outfit. When I saw the outfit, I stopped dead mouse click and thought, “I’m pretty sure I’m thought about putting together an outfit like that.” Too bad I don’t look like Jessica Alba though.

I am the queen of cardigans. I have, one black, two white, one cream, and one silver. They’re wore almost weekly, and interchangeably. Talk about versatility!
